you get a warranty that covers the phone and the accessories that come
along. In this section, you will explore what warranty suits you & what it has to offer.

Warranty Policy

We've got you covered! YU devices come with extensive warranty. We have 12 months warranty on the handset, 6 months warranty on Fitness Band, 6 months warranty on out of box accessories (battery, charging adapter, USB data cable & in-ear headset) and 6 months warranty on Other Accessories like YuFit, YuPix, etc.

The warranty starts from the original date of purchase (invoice will be required as a proof of purchase).

The warranty will be void only in 3 scenarios as mentioned below:

    Any kind of water damage

    Scenario 2

    Any kind of accidental damage

  • Image
    Scenario 3

    Any kind of damage arising through wear and tear or rough usage of the product.

Services and Repair Policy

We provide “Carry in Service Support” to our customers in India. Customers can visit any “Authorized Service Locations” across India to get their product serviced.

Terms of Service:

  • 1. For any issues with the handset or the accessory, customer need to contact YU in the following ways –
    • a. Call on 1-8602-122-122; or
    • b. Visit YU Authorized Service Centre; or
    • c. Write to [email protected]
      YU Support (Call Centre / Authorized Service Centre) will do necessary troubleshooting for all Software related Issued on the handset/accessory.
  • 2. Incase YU Support team diagnosis it as a hardware issue then, following will happen –
    • a. Call Centre will share details of YU Authorized Service Center as per customer convenient location.
    • b. Customer need to visit our Authorized Service Center with device for seeking necessary services.
  • 3. For Out-Warranty Cases, customer visiting Authorized Service Centre will be charged a standard service fee for repair /service of any nature that is not covered by this warranty.
  • 4. The customer must receive the job sheet when the product is given for repair(s) at our service centre & the contents of the job sheet must be verified by the customer.
  • 5. The warranty of the replaced handset/accessory will continue to be from date of purchase of the original handset/accessory.
  • 6. For Out-Warranty Cases, customer visiting Authorized Service Centre will be charged a standard service fee for repair /service of any nature that is not covered by this warranty.

Disclaimer: We will not be responsible for any handset sent out to our Central Warehouse without the Authorisation of our service team. Any such device sent will be discarded and will not be sent back.
